Shakira) has garnered the Colombian superstar his first-ever Billboard Music Award nomination for “Top Latin Song”. The song received “Record of the Year” and “Song of the Year” at the 2016 Latin Grammy Awards, and has over 853 million views on YouTube and over 200 million streams on Spotify.
2 x Grammy, 12x Latin Grammy winning recording artist/producer Carlos Vives was awarded a Master of Latin Music degree by the prestigious Berklee College of Music at a ceremony at the GML Auditorio (Gaira Music Local, Vives’ venue) in Bogota, Colombia. The award was presented by Berklee president Roger Brown and was followed by a performance of music from Berklee students and Vives at the Julio Mario Santodomingo Theater. The Massachusetts-based Berklee College of Music is the largest private music college in the country and boasts a highly regarded Latin Music Studies program.

News, Miss Colombia 2014 Ariadna Gutierrez (contestant infamously mistakenly by Steve Harvey during the Miss Universe fiasco in 2015) makes her video debut in “Al Filo de tu Amor” by 2x Grammy, 10x Latin Grammy-winning Colombian superstar Carlos Vives. Filmed in the streets and subways of New York, the video was directed by Colombian Felipe Montoya of Mestiza Films.
