Biography
Claudia Brant is one of the most prolific and versatile composers in the music industry. Her songs cover a broad range of genres: Pop, Rock, Merengue, Norteño, Bolero, Cumbia, Reggaeton, R&B, Hip Hop and Salsa.

Her songs have been recorded by numerous artists such as: Carlos Santana, Barbara Streisand, Josh Groban,Fantasia Barrino, John Legend, Ricky Martin, The tenors, Nathan Pacheco,Michael Bublé, Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Camila, Milly Quezada, Tito Nieves, Lara Fabian, Kenny G, Alejandra Guzmán, Reik, Germán Montero, Sandra Mihanovich, Gisela, Natalia Oreiro, Edith Márquez, K Paz de la Sierra, Alisson Iraheta, Sergio Dalma, Noel, Thalia, Paulina Rubio, Debi Nova, Alejandro Fernández, Playa Limbo, Haash, Pedro Capó, Babado Novo, KLB, Ednita Nazario, Diego Torres, Olga Tañón, Marta Sánchez, Cristian Castro, Kumbia Kings, Chayanne, Luis Fonsi, La Ley, Victor Manuelle and Paulina Rubio, among others.

Awards

Claudia won first place in two of the most prestigious Latin song festivals as a singer and songwriter: OTI (1991, Mexico) with a song titled “Adonde Estas Ahora” and Viña Del Mar (1994, Chile) with “Como Ayer”.

In 2004 Claudia received four ASCAP awards and Best Latin Artist award by the L.A. Music Awards. That same year she received her first Latin Grammy nomination as Producer of the Year for DJ Kane’s self titled album (EMI).

Starting in 2007 and for 3 consecutive years, Claudia received SESAC Latina award as Songwriter of the Year and Publisher of the Year (Nana Maluca Music).

In 2009, Billboard named “No Me Doy Por Vencido,” first single from Luis Fonsi’s album “Palabras del Silencio” (Universal), as Song of the Decade after maintaining the #1 slot on Billboard for 19 consecutives weeks.

That same year the second single from the same album “Aqui Estoy Yo”won a Latin Grammy for Song of the Year.

Same year, Claudia was given the distinguished Publisher of the Year and Songwriter of the Year – Pop awards by the magazine Monitor Latino and also received the Song of the Year award by Premios OYE (Mexico).

“Aqui Estoy Yo” also received Song of the Year – Pop by Premios Lo Nuestro (2010).

In September 2011,Claudia was nominated for 3 Latin Grammys for Best Female Pop Vocal – Claudia Brant “Manuscrito”, Best Engeneered Album – Claudia Brant “Manuscrito” and Song of the year- Ricky Martin-“Lo major de mi vida ere tú”.

Claudia was Awarded ASCAP Latina SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR 2012.

Collaborations

At the end of 2004, Claudia penned the original lyrics for “I Forget” movement V from Serenada Schizophrana, an original piece by Dany Elfmann. Serenada’s debuted in March 2005 at Carnegie Hall in New York with an 80 piece orchestra and a 40 people choir. Serenada Schzophrana was commissioned to Dany Elfmann by the American Composers Orchestra.

Claudia has collaborated with many amazing songwriters and producers such as: Desmond Child, Dianne Warren, Lester Mendez, Twags Salter, David Foster, Walter Affanassieff, Humberto Gatica, George Noriega, Mark Portmann, Jeremmy Lubbock, Leo Z, Sebastian Krys, Mike Krompass, Armando Avila, Lindy Robbins, Rune Westberg, Gary Burr, David Vincent Williams, Liz Rose, Kristian Lundlin, Carl Falk, Carl Bjorsell, Kike Santander, Don Black, Eman, Naughty Boy, Patrick Patrikios, Ferras, Rudy Maya, Reyli, Coti, Klaus Dehrendorf, Marco Marinangelli, Adam Anders, Noel Schajris, Davis Santisteban, Neffu, DQ,z Erika Nuri, Sebastian Arocha Morton, Andres Levin, James Brian, Alex Cuba, Jorge Villamizar, Trinity, Gen Rubin and Gianmarco.

Claudia recently wrote and produced 'Arriba, Arriba", the main anthem for the Juegos Deportivos Centroamericanos.It will be performed live for the first time at the opening night of the games, march 3rd, 2013.

Claudia is currently in the studio working with Natalia Jimenez, Katie Taylor, Jencarlos Canela, Frankie J, Pedro Capo, Noel, Luis Fonsi, John Legend and La Santa Cecilia.
