Multi-Grammy Award winning, chart-topping SoCal singer songwriter COLBIE CAILLAT will hit the road on August 24th in support of her acclaimed third album ALL OF YOU, which debuted at #2 on iTunes and #6 on Billboard last week.   The tour kicks off in Louisville at the Brown Theatre, and takes her to 27 major market and colleges towns in the U.S.  Andy Grammer will open all but three shows on the tour. Caillat kicked off her new album with performances of her current single “Brighter Than the Sun”, which she co-wrote with Ryan Tedder, on the Today Show, The Tonight Show, Fox’s Daily Dish, and EXTRA.  She will appear on Lopez Tonight on August 1.  “Brighter Than the Sun” received single picks in People Magazine and Entertainment Weekly which raved, “(the song is) full of carefree acoustic strums and beach-ready romance. “ The first single from the new album, “I Do”, debuted at #1 on iTunes, is receiving Top 5 airplay in Europe and is a Top 15 Hot AC single.

 was the recipient of critical raves in of People MagazineEntertainment WeeklyUSA Today, and elsewhere.  USA Today wrote “Caillat’s…best album to date,” and People said, “You won’t find a sunnier set this summer.” On the new album, Caillat realized her long held dream of collaborating with rapper/film star Common who lends his rhymes to the infectious “Favorite Song”.  Caillat wrote “Favorite Song” and “Brighter than the Sun” with Ryan Tedder and collaborated with Toby GadJason ReevesRick Nowels, and Justin Young on the album.

Caillat’s first album Coco debuted at No. 5 and raced its way past the multi-Platinum barrier. Her first single, “Bubbly,” caught a generation’s imagination and has become one of the best-selling digital tracks of all time. Billboard took note by naming Caillat its Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Fittingly, Breakthrough broke at No. 1.  Later that year,  Caillat honored with four Grammy nominations and won two Grammys for her collaborations with Jason Mraz and Taylor Swift. She has sung the national anthem on the kickoff to the 2011 NFL season and performed at the Nobel Peace Concert in Oslo. She and her original music have been featured in commercials for cotton and in ABC Family Channel’s “25 Days of Christmas,” whose theme song she wrote and arranged. Her embrace has stretched to include work for honorable causes including the Surfrider Foundation, Save the Music, Farm Sanctuary, and the Humane Society of the U.S., for she is a spokesperson.
