“Caillat’s maturation as a songwriter and vocalist is abundantly clear,” Billboard

New York, NY- April , 2011–  Grammy Award winning, chart-topping SoCal singer songwriter COLBIE CAILLAT will release ALL OF YOU, her highly anticipated third album for Universal Republic Records,  on July 12, 2011.  Caillat wrote All OF YOU about her experiences the last few years, the most significant of which is her blossoming relationship with band mate Justin Young.

Caillat says that “He was in my band for two years before we noticed that we like each other,” she says, laughing. “I wrote most of this album about us, our ups and downs. All the songs are about life experiences, so I guess this record is more grown up, with a somewhat wiser perspective.”

On the new album, Caillat realized her long held dream of collaborating with rapper/film star Common who lends his rhymes to the infectious “Favorite Song”.  Caillat wrote “Favorite Song” and “Brighter than the Sun” with Ryan Tedder and collaborated with Toby Gad, Jason Reeves, Rick Nowels, and Justin Young on the album.  Fans will get a sneak peek of the album in May during the Humane Society of the United State’s campaign to end puppy mills. Caillat is the voice of the public service spots and lent the use of her song “Make it Rain” to the campaign.

CAILLAT is the star performer on the TLC “Royal Wedding Event” and Live Broadcast in Times Square on Friday April 29.   She will also be headlining a special USO event at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

Caillat’s first album Coco debuted at No. 5 and raced its way past the multi-Platinum barrier. Her first single, “Bubbly,” caught a generation’s imagination and has become one of the best-selling digital tracks of all time. Billboard took note by naming Caillat its Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Fittingly, Breakthroughbroke at No. 1.  Later that year,  Caillat honored with four Grammy nominations and won two Grammys for her collaborations with Jason Mraz and Taylor Swift.   She has sung the national anthem on the kickoff to the 2011 NFL season and performed at the Nobel Peace Concert in Oslo. She and her original music have been featured in commercials for cotton and in ABC Family Channel’s “25 Days of Christmas,” whose theme song she wrote and arranged. Her embrace has stretched to include work for honorable causes including the Surfrider Foundation, Save the Music and the Humane Society, for which she has recently become a spokesperson.
