SESAC Latina announced today that acclaimed artist FONSECA, the superstar performer and SESAC-affiliated singer-songwriter, will perform at the SESAC Latina Music Awards 2015 on Wednesday, June 17th, at The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
Fonseca, who will also receive the very important Contemporary Icon Award, the first of its kind given by SESAC Latina, will join previously announced urban music pioneer Nicky Jam and Regional Mexican hit maker Noel Torres at SESAC Latina’s highly anticipated gala to which the industry looks forward annually. The SESAC Latina Music Awards honor the creative talent of SESAC Latina songwriters, publishers and affiliates, including an impressive list of No. 1 charted songs and songs with extraordinary radio rotation.
Since the release of his self-titled album in 2002, Colombian born Fonseca has become one of the most successful and influential recording artists in the world. He has performed in more than 25 countries, released four acclaimed studio albums, and received numerous awards including three Latin Grammys, a Billboard Music Award and a Premio lo Nuestro. He has sold over a million albums, has 1.7 million likes on Facebook and more than 3.43 million followers on Twitter, and his videos on YouTube total to over 100 million views.
