JUAN GABRIEL POSTPONES FIRST TWO LOS ANGELES SHOWS & SAN JOSE DATE DUE TO ILLNESS

After sold out shows across the country, gabriel is in intensive care with pneumonia

Legendary singer-composer-producer Juan Gabriel, who kicked off his acclaimed “Volver” tour earlier this month, was rushed to intensive care Monday morning in Las Vegas after awakening with fever and congestion. Later in the day, Gabriel was diagnosed with pneumonia necessitating the postponement of his next three shows: April 16 & 17 in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live and April 19 in San Jose at the SAP Center. The shows are being rescheduled and the new dates will be announced later this week by CMN Events who are producing the tour. The remainder of the tour is set to continue as scheduled.
Gabriel kicked off the U.S. leg of the tour on 4/3 and 4/4 with two sold out shows at the Allstate Center in Chicago, where the Chicago Tribune raved, “…like a conquering hero…(Gabriel) once again displayed his total command of the stage. His 2.5-hour concert Friday, with its impeccable showmanship and boundless energy, confirmed that he’s the reigning king (elder statesman division) of the Latin pop realm.”

Sold out shows at Madison Square Garden, the Toyota Center in Houston and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas followed. On Sunday night at Mandalay Bay, Gabriel, known affectionately as “Juanga” by fans, played his full show plus 30 minutes beyond his curtain time to appease the crowds who were on their feet for the full 3 hours and have waited over 7 years to see him tour.

Juan Gabriel pospone las dos primeras fechas de los angeles y la fecha de san jose debido a enfermedad

Después de llenos totales alrededor del país, juan gabriel se encuentra en cuidados intensivos con neumonía

El legendario cantautor, compositor y productor Juan Gabriel, quien a principios de este mes inició su gira “Volver”, fue internado de última hora la mañana del lunes en la ciudad de Las Vegas después de despertar con fiebre y congestión. Esa misma tarde fue diagnosticado con neumonía y se verá forzado a posponer las fechas de sus shows del 16 y 17 de abril en el Nokia Theatre L.A. Live en la ciudad de los Angeles así como también el show del 19 de abril en el SAP Center de San Jose. Los shows serán reprogramados y las fechas serán anunciadas al final de esta semana por CMN Events, quienes son los productores de la gira. El resto de la gira seguirá sin cambios.

El Divo de Juarez inició su gira por los Estados Unidos con dos llenos totales, el 3 y 4 de abril en el Allstate Center en la ciudad de Chicago, donde enloqueció a los fanáticos, “….como un héroe que viene a conquistar… Juan Gabriel demostró su dominio en el escenario. En el concierto del pasado Viernes, el cual duró aproximadamente 2 horas y media, Juan Gabriel mostró su impecable espectacularidad y su ilimitada energía, con la cual confirmó que sigue siendo el rey más respetado e influyente del pop Latino”

El reconocido cantante tuvo llenos totales en los shows del Madison Square Garden, el Toyota Center en Houston y el Mandalay Bay en Las Vegas. El domingo en el Mandalay Bay,”Juanga”, se entregó en el escenario cantando por más de 3 horas, para deleitar a su público quienes se mantuvieron de pie durante todo el espectáculo ya que estos esperaron más de 7 años para verlo en gira.
