El divo de juarez to resume touring on may 1st at the nokia theatre at l.a. live
Superstar Juan Gabriel is in very stable condition in a Las Vegas hospital where he was admitted on Monday morning with fluid in his lungs and low oxygen levels, later diagnosed as pneumonia. Affectionately known as El Divo de Juarez by his legions of fans, the composer/performer and six-time Grammy nominated recording artist is expected to be released sometime this weekend. After a two week rest, he will resume his acclaimed VOLVER tour on May 1st at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live.
Replacements dates for the three shows cancelled due to his illness have been announced as follows:
• Thursday, May 8 at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live replaces the Thursday April 17 show at the venue
• Friday, May 9 at SAP Center in San Jose replaces the Saturday April 19 show at the venue
• Wednesday, May 28 at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live replaces the Wednesday, April 16 show at the venue
Instructions for Los Angeles: Tickets originally purchased for the April 16th Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE concert will be honored for the May 28th concert and tickets originally purchased for the April 17th Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE concert will be honored for the May 8th concert. If ticket holders are unable to attend the new show dates, refunds are available through May 1st via the original point of purchase.
Instructions for San Jose: All tickets for the original performance date will be honored for the rescheduled show. Ticket purchasers who decide not to attend the rescheduled performance can receive a refund at the original place of purchase.
Juan Gabriel kicked off the U.S. leg of the tour on 4/3 and 4/4 with two sold out shows at the Allstate Center in Chicago, where the Chicago Tribune raved, “…like a conquering hero…(Gabriel) once again displayed his total command of the stage. His 2.5-hour concert Friday, with its impeccable showmanship and boundless energy, confirmed that he’s the reigning king (elder statesman division) of the Latin pop realm.”
Sold out shows at Madison Square Garden, the Toyota Center in Houston and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas followed. On Sunday night at Mandalay Bay, Gabriel, known affectionately as “Juanga” by fans, played his full show plus 30 minutes beyond his curtain time to appease the crowds who were on their feet for the full 3 hours and have waited over 7 years to see him tour.

JUAN GABRIEL SE ENCUENTRA EN RECUPERACIÓN Y ANUNCIA FECHAS PARA LOS CONCIERTOS CANCELADOS
EL DIVO DE JUAREZ CONTINURÁ CON SU GIRA EL 1ERO MAYO EN EL NOKIA THEATRE AT L.A. LIVE
El legendario cantautor Mexicano Juan Gabriel se encuentra en condición estable y está recuperándose en un hospital de la ciudad de Las Vegas, donde fue admitido la mañana del Lunes con fluido en los pulmones y bajos niveles de oxígeno, siendo mas tarde diagnosticado con neumonía. Se tiene contemplado que el Divo de Juárez, será dado de alta este fin de semana, se tomará dos semanas de descanso para reanudar su aclamada gira VOLVER el 1ro de mayo en el Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live.
Las fechas de remplazo para los tres shows cancelados han sido anunciadas:
• Jueves, 8 de Mayo en el Nokia Theatre L.A. Live remplazará la fecha del Jueves, 17 de Abril
• Viernes, 9 de Mayo en el SAP Center de San Jose remplazará la fecha del Sábado, 19 de Abril
• Miércoles 28 de Mayo en el Nokia Theatre L.A. Live remplazará la fecha del Miércoles 16 de Abril
Instrucciones para Los Angeles: Los boletos comprados originalmente para la fecha del 16 de Abril en el Nokia Theatre L.A. Live podrán ser utilizados en las puertas del teatro para el concierto del 28 de Mayo y los boletos comprados originalmente para la fecha del 17 de Abril en el Nokia Theatre L.A. Live podrán ser utilizados en las puertas del teatro para el concierto del 8 de Mayo. Si las personas que compraron boletos no pueden asistir a las nuevas fechas anunciadas, podrán pedir un reembolso a partir del 1ero de Mayo en el lugar donde fueron compraron los boletos.
Instrucciones para San Jose Los boletos comprados originalmente para la fecha del 19 de Abril en el SAP Center podrán ser utilizados en las puertas del teatro para el concierto del 10 de Mayo. El Divo de Juárez inició su gira por los Estados Unidos con dos llenos totales, el 3 y 4 de Abril en el Allstate Center en la ciudad de Chicago, donde enloqueció a los fanáticos, “….como un héroe que viene a conquistar… Juan Gabriel demostró su dominio en el escenario. En el concierto del pasado Viernes, el cual duró aproximadamente 2 horas y media, El Divo de Juárez mostró su impecable espectacularidad y su ilimitada energía, con la cual confirmó que sigue siendo el rey más respetado e influyente del pop Latino”
El reconocido cantante tuvo llenos totales en los shows del Madison Square Garden, el Toyota Center en Houston y el Mandalay Bay en Las Vegas. El domingo en el Mandalay Bay,”Juanga”, se entregó en el escenario cantando por más de 3 horas, para deleitar a su público quienes se mantuvieron de pie durante todo el espectáculo ya que estos esperaron más de 7 años para verlo en gira.
