(Los Angeles, Calif. – Feb. 3, 2015) – Los Angeles-based band North of Nine premiered its highly stylized new music video for “Can It Be You?” on AskMen.com yesterday, featuring Super Bowl ad model, Charlotte McKinney. McKinney was one of the Super Bowl’s hottest attractions with her risqué Carl’s Jr. Super Bowl commercial. AskMen called the “Can It Be You?” video ‘sex charged,’ but we think it’s just sexy and fun. The music video features McKinney as the head nurse among several who tend to the bandmates and heal them of everything from a broken heart to feeling invisible. Lead singer, Jackson Guthy, says, “The music video really takes on the meaning of the song. The connection between the song lyrics and the video is what love can do to you and the effect that it has on you and your entire body.”

North of Nine is led by lead singer and keyboardist Guthy, who garnered early praise for his work with Grammy Award-winning songwriter/producer Glen Ballard. Guthy later went on to perform on The Ellen Show twice as a solo artist. North of Nine is comprised of Guthy, drummer Rob Ketchum, guitarist Michael O’Grady, bassist Edison Lo and keyboardist Nolan Frank.

North of Nine is KISS-FM’s #NextUp Artist of The Week and Randy Jackson’s latest discovery. The band is working on its debut EP with Gavin Brown (Lady Gaga, Metric, Barenaked Ladies, Three Days Grace), which is set to release next month.
