Produced by drum & bass reggae legends Sly & Robbie (Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff), Ozo invited friends Gaby Moreno, Juanes, Regulo Caro, Chali 2na, G.Love, Slightly Stoopied and Herb Alpert to perform songs written by Selena, Café Tacuba, Juan Gabriel, Julieta Venegas, Los Tigres del Norte and classic tracks from their youth. This is Ozomatli’s first album of mostly Spanish language music in their 21-year history.
This week, Ozomatli, the seminal L.A. band with a social conscious, performed for the first time ever for a sold out audience at the Troubador. They play the House of Blues in Anaheim today and are confirmed to perform at KCRW’s influential Morning Becomes Eclectic on May 31, with special guests including Chali 2na.

Love y Herb Alpert, es un homenaje a algunas de las mayores leyendas de la música latina. Las canciones que conforman este álbum han sido escritas por artistas como Selena, Café Tacuba, Juan Gabriel, Julieta Venegas y Los Tigres del Norte, y es el primer álbum en la historia de la banda con mayoría de canciones en español.
Esta semana Ozomatli, la banda característica de Los Angeles, se presentó por primera vez en el Troubadour con todas las entradas vendidas. Hoy tienen un concierto en el House of Blues de Anaheim y están confirmados para presentarse en Morning Becomes Eclectic de KCRW el 31 de mayo, acompañados de Chali 2na.
