Grammy-winning pop superstars REIK rocked up to the Top 10 position on the Spanish Pop Contemporary charts with their new single “Peligro”, the first track from their fourth studio album, PELIGRO, out July 5th. With infectious lyrics, dance beats and a cutting edge electronic sound combined with Jesus, Julio and Bibi’s individual musicianship on guitars and keyboards, “Peligro” is the first exciting look into the continuing evolution of Reik’s multi-platinum career. “Peligro” was written by band members Julio Ramírez, Jesús Navarro, Grammy-winning songwriter Mónica Velez and Ettore Grenci, and produced by Grenci and Kiko Cibrian.Just a week ago Reik filmed the video for their hit single “Peligro” in Mexico City at the Hotel Distrito Capital under the direction of renowned and legendary producer Pedro Torres. The shoot lasted for over 20 hours and included more than 50 extras. The video presents a party scenario where Reik keeps following “Peligro” (danger) in this case, mirrored by a beautiful woman who is represented by well-known Venezuelan actress/model/TV host Eglantina Zingg. La filmación duro más de 20 horas y conto con unos 50 extras. La historia del video se desarrolla en una fiesta donde vemos a los integrantes de REIK detrás del Peligro, que en esta ocasión se manifiesta a través de una especie de ‘femme fatale’ interpretada por la modelo y conductora venezolana Eglantina Zinng.
