Latin Grammy® winning pop group REIK (Jesus Navarro, Julio Ramirez and Bibi Marin) has been invited to perform at SESAC LATINA annual gala on June 20th at the Beverly Hills hotel in Beverly Hills. Hosted by SESAC Latina’s Vice President J. J. Cheng, the evening will include cocktail/dinner, awards and live musical performances from top SESAC talent.

The band’s latest single “Creo En Ti,” co-written by Marin, reached #8 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay Charts and continues among the most played songs in the country.  “Peligro”, the title track from REIK’s latest award winning album was co-written by Navarro.  The single topped the Billboard charts in the US, Mexico and Puerto Rico and was among the best selling singles on iTunes.  Both Marin and Navarro are SESAC Latina affiliates.  The band’s  first big breakthrough in the music scene came in 2005 with their debut single “Yo Quisiera,” which gave way for the release of their self-titled album to become a hit soon after.  Powerful and energetic, REIK continues to grow musically through touring and songwriting.  Without losing their essence, Jesus, Julio and Bibi have continued to evolve their sound as evidenced on “Peligro”, which debuted at #3 on the US charts and continues to be a top performer on iTunes.

During the ceremony, SESAC Latina will salute the songwriters and publishers of the past year’s most performed Latin songs. Su anfitriona principal será la Vicepresidenta de SESAC Latina, J. J. Cheng. El evento de gala incluirá un cocktail/cena, entrega de premios y la presentación en vivo de sobresalientes artistas afiliados de SESAC.El éxito más reciente de Reik, “Creo En Ti”, co-escrito por Gilberto ‘Bibi’ Marín, alcanzó la posición # 8 de la lista Latin Airplay de la revista Billboard y continúa entre los temas más tocados en radio en el país. “Peligro”, primer sencillo y título del más reciente y multi galardonado álbum de la banda, fue co-escrito por Jesús Navarro, ocupó los primeros lugares en las listas de la revista Billboard en Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico y fue también un gran éxito en México y otros países, convirtiéndose en una de las canciones más vendidas en iTunes.  En su faceta de compositores ambos artistas, Navarro y Marín, son miembros de SESAC Latina.
