ALEJANDRO FERNANDEZ BREAKS A RECORD IN THE ZOCALO IN MEXICO CITY IN FRONT OF 175,000 PEOPLE

On March 20, the citizens of the capital of Mexico welcomed the spring in a very special way. Alejandro Fernandez offered a concert that attracted more than 175.000 people to the Zocalo in Mexico City, breaking the previous attendance record.

Around 8:10 pm the show began, accompanied by his mariachi, 8 musicians and 2 background singers, Alejandro appeared wearing his “charro” suit proudly.

The 175,000 people there joined him, screaming, singing, dancing and celebrating to the rhythm of “Guadalajara”, “Ay Jalisco”, “México Lindo y Querido”. After he performed his repertoire of Ranchero- style songs, Alejandro returned to the stage dressed in his leather pants and shirt to perform his extremely popular pop ballads: “Me Dedique a Perderte”, “Que Lastima”, “Canta Corazon”, “Que Voy Hacer Con Mi Amor”, and “Todo.”

He delighted the audience with a total of 34 Songs, including a medley of Juan Gabriel, Jose Alfredo Jimenez and his father Vicente Fernandez. “The Potrillo” of Mexico displayed his great voice and the affection of its public manifested itself greatly in a night that will be remembered by history.
At the end of the concert Alejandro Fernandez, “La Voz de México,” commented: "I am living one of the best moments of my career and I am deeply thankful for this audience, for my people, for my country. What better way to celebrate all the good things that are happening than with the people who have supported me and made me grow as an artist, but the important thing is that I’m not the only one to growing they are helping to grow our essence, our culture and our traditions and to transfer them to new generations, and I am proud to be able to show the world the cultural wealth of Mexico.
