A collector’s dream, each set includes an authentic lenticular concert ticket for the July 24, 2009 performance of This Is it at the O2 Arena, a quality 60 page hardcover coffee table book with full page photographs including over two dozen previously unpublished, the 4LP This Is It album on translucent blue vinyl and a rare promotional 3D enhanced Blu-Ray disc of the film, Michael Jackson’s This Is It. The 2009 documentary Michael Jackson’s This Is It was directed by Kenny Ortega and follows Michael’s rehearsals and preparation for his concert series of the same name scheduled to start on July 13, 2009, but canceled due to his death eighteen days prior on June 25.

When the film was released, fans around the world waited in line for days for tickets, and Michael Jackson’s This Is It became the highest worldwide grossing documentary/concert film of all time. Reviewers were emotional in their praise: “The art,” said Richard Corliss in Time Magazine, “is in what we’re privileged to watch: a perfectionist who quietly pushes himself to prove he’s still got it;” Peter Travers at Rolling Stone wrote, “unmissable”, a “transcendent tribute”; and Slate said, “Jackson’s body moves with such otherworldly grace it’s as if he’s never not dancing…. it’s heart stopping to see it again for the last time.”

The new video for “What Could’ve Been” from GONE WEST, featuring Colbie Caillat, has struck the hearts of country music fans and critics everywhere, tallying one million views this week. Released earlier this month, and premiering on People (HERE), “What Could’ve Been”, with 45 first week major market adds, was also the most added track by a debut artist this year and has reached 5.7 million cumulative streams!
The Triple Tiger Records artists have been on tour and at radio, have been honored to play the Grand Ole Opry three times in the last year and recently announced they will be opening for Country Music Hall of Famer George Strait in Las Vegas on January 31st and February 1st 2020, and for country superstar Kenny Chesney on June 6th 2020.

Triple Tigers Records recording artists GONE WEST, featuring Colbie Caillat, today released the video for “What Could’ve Been”, which premiered yesterday at People (HERE). Directed by Patrick Tracy, and filmed in Franklin, TN at the “Fork Inn” of Big East Fork Valley in the beautiful landscape of the Tennessee Hills, the video features the band’s two couples acting out the “before” and “after” of a broken romance and its heartbreak.
The Nashville-based band, which consists of Caillat and her fiancé Justin Kawika Young and husband and wife Jason Reeves and Nelly Joy, wanted to ‘lean on our love for each other and to act out the narrative’, for the video for their first single.  “It’s a good reminder to show love openly before it’s too late, especially in the hardest moments”.

19 of the original singers on Avicii’s biggest tracks, including Aloe BlaccAdam LambertAlex EbertRita Ora and Joe Janiak (see full list below) , will come together with a 30 pc band to perform a two hour headline set of his original music on December 5 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm for the Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness, the Avicii team announced today.  The event will open with  headline DJ sets from David GuettaKygo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Laidback Luke and Nicky Romero, all close friends of Tim Bergling.

“Tim had plans for his music to be performed together with a large live band, and now we are realizing his dream and giving fans a chance to experience his music in this unique way,” says Klas Bergling, Tim’s father.

 

The Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness will be the first time that most of Avicii’s greatest tracks have ever been performed live and also the first time that so many of the singers and collaborators whose performances and productions made his music so special gathered together in one historic moment to perform his music.  Fans can expect uplifting and intensely emotional experience, just as his music was when he created it.

 

When the superstar artist and producer known to millions of fans around the world as Avicii but known to friends as Tim died on April 20, 2018 it sent a shockwave around the world, the global mourning an equal and opposite reaction to the Swedish producer’s intensely uplifting music and the reach it had during his comet streak of a career.   Fans and fellow artists called him passionate, groundbreaking, the gold standard for timeless electronic music.  At the AviciiTribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness fans worldwide will come together with his collaborators to honor his music and legacy.

 

“We are grateful that his friends, producers, artists and colleagues are coming to Stockholm to help.  They have all expressed a sincere interest and desire to engage in efforts to stem the tide of mental illness and lend their support to our work with the Tim Bergling Foundation. “Every year around 1500 people take their own lives in Sweden and globally up to one million.  It is a tragedy that affects families, communities and with long-term effects on relatives who live on in grief. It is a global crisis and the second most common cause of death among young people aged 15-29 *. We want this concert to help put the topic on the agenda and pay attention to the stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide. Policies and tools are needed to detect the risks and prevent suicide, especially among young people,” says Klas Bergling, Tim’s father.

ABOUT THE TIM BERGLING FOUNDATION

The Bergling family started the Tim Bergling Foundation in memory of Tim Bergling who passed away on April 20, 2018.  The foundation is intended to be eternal.  Initially, the Foundation will focus on supporting people and organizations that work in prevention in the areas of health and suicide.  Other areas of focus are climate, development assistance, threatened nature and endangered species.  The foundation’s purpose will be fulfilled both in Sweden and around the world.

On August 23 at 12:01 AM CEST, The Avicii estate will release “Heaven (David Guetta & MORTEN remix)” the long-rumored remix of the Avicii track from Tim Bergling’s album TIM, which reached 1.2 billion streams since its release in June. Produced by Guetta to honor his friend’s life and legacy, it is the first Avicii/Guetta collaboration since the two produced “Sunshine” in 2011 and received a Grammy nomination for their work.
The 2x Grammy winning producer Guetta said, “I’ve wanted to do something to honor Avicii for quite a long time, but was waiting for the right moment. After I heard ‘Heaven’ for the first time I was blown away by the sound, the lyrics and the vocals from Chris Martin. What makes it extra special is that Chris Martin has always been a big inspiration with Coldplay for both Tim and myself. That’s why it felt like the right moment for me to make a remix of this track as a tribute to Tim.

“I proposed it to the family and luckily they liked the idea. Together with my friend MORTEN I created this remix and I’m really proud of the end result. I think it’s amazing we can keep his legacy and his beautiful melodies alive like this, because he inspired so many people with it, including myself.”

“Heaven”, a collaboration written and recorded with Coldplay’s Chris Martin in 2014 and completed by Bergling in 2016, is a brightly soaring anthem done in Avicii’s signature build-and-release style. It recently hit the #1 spot on Billboard’s Dance/Remix Airplay chart.   Guetta’s remix is a great combination of Avicii signature chords and the superstar French DJ’s sounds and compelling beats.  Guetta debuted a live version of the track (watch HERE) during his set at Tomorrowland, where Tiesto also performed a tribute to Bergling.
The video to “Heaven” (watch HERE) created by filmmaker Levan Tsikurishvili, in festival competition this month won Best Music Video at LAFA (Los Angeles Film Awards) and at the Top Shorts Film Festival. The gorgeous combination of images of Bergling from Tsikurishvili’s and Bergling’s visit to Île Sainte-Marie in Madagascar in 2016 during the filming of Avicii: True Stories and a second visit that Tsikurishvili made after Tim’s death to honor his legacy.
Avicii proceeds will go to the non-profit Tim Bergling Foundation and the purposes it will work for, among other things, to prevent mental illness and suicide.

CMN (Cardenas Marketing Network) has announced that, Jaripeo Sin Fronteras 2019 one of the most exciting tours of the year, is adding two additional tour dates: Honda Center in Anaheim, CA on Sunday, September 1st, and SAP Center in San Jose, CA on Sunday, September 29th, 2019. Tickets for Anaheim date went on sale last week, tickets for San Jose go on pre-sale this Thursday, 6/27 at 10am and on-sale Friday, 6/28 at 10am local time. CMN also confirmed, Mexican superstar Paquita La Del Barrio will join the Aguilar dynasty for the remainder of the tour. The announcement comes after a packed house in Oakland, CA this past weekend. Pepe Aguilar’s top selling arena tour, Jaripeo Sin Fronteras kicked off its 2019 run earlier this year and is set to travel to nearly 30 cities throughout Mexico and the US.

Jaripeo Sin Fronteras features performances by Pepe Aguilar, Leonardo Aguilar, Angela Aguilar, Antonio Aguilar Jr., and Paquita La Del Barrio. It was Pepe’s vision to adapt the legendary Aguilar family’s touring tradition of Jaripeo for a new generation, an equestrian-musical extravaganza combined with rodeo. The nearly 3-hour show brings together bull riders, trick riders, 15 beautiful horses, rope tricks on horseback, tech and pyro, plus musical performances. It’s a multi-generation show for all ages.

Pepe Aguilar made his debut at Madison Square Garden at the age of three performing on horseback with his father Antonio Aguilar who, with his family, toured the entire American continent with the Espectáculo Ecuestre Internacional and Rodeo Show. It was the first equestrian show in the history of Latin show business, built around various life stock disciplines with horses, bulls, buffalos, monkey’s, and more.  “It was like a Ringling Brothers Mexican Style.  He even had folkloric ballet.”  It was one of the most successful shows of the time.  Don Antonio, Doña Flor Silvestre (both parents were acclaimed actors from the golden age of Mexican cinema) along with little Toño and Pepe Aguilar changed the direction of Mexican music forever and became a standard by which the genre was judged.

CMN (Cardenas Marketing Network) ha anunciado que, Jaripeo Sin Fronteras 2019 agregó dos nuevas fechas a su gira: Honda Center en Anaheim, CA el domingo, 1 de septiembre, y el SAP Center en San Jose, CA el domingo, 29 de septiembre, 2019. Los boletos para la fecha de Anaheim salieron a la venta la semana pasada, los boletos para San José saldrán a pre-venta este jueves, 6/27 a las 10am y a la venta el viernes, 6/28 a las 10am hora local. CMN también confirmó que la superestrella mexicana Paquita La Del Barrio se unirá a la dinastía Aguilar por el resto de la gira. El anuncio llega después de una casa llena en Oakland, California, el fin de semana pasado. La exitosa gira Jaripeo Sin Fronteras 2019 de Pepe Aguilar, dio comienzo a principios de este año y está programado para viajar a casi 30 ciudades en México y los Estados Unidos.

Jaripeo Sin Fronteras presenta actuaciones de Pepe Aguilar, Leonardo Aguilar, Angela Aguilar, Antonio Aguilar hijo, y Paquita la del Barrio. La visión de Pepe fue de adaptar a nuestra época la tradición de la legendaria gira de Jaripeo de la Familia Aguilar, concibiendo así un espectáculo ecuestre-musical combinado con charreria, tradiciones mexicanas y actos de rodeo internacionales, algo jamás antes visto. Jaripeo sin Fronteras es un espectáculo de casi 3 horas y media que une a recortadores españoles y bullfighters americanos, jinetes campeones de Mexico y USA, acróbatas ecuestres, hermosos caballos educados a la alta escuela, el actual campeón de floreo de reata de EU, más de 30 músicos en escena así como la última tecnología, efectos especiales, vídeo y pirotecnia, además de actuaciones musicales.

Pepe Aguilar hizo su debut musical en el Madison Square Garden a los 3 años, montado a caballo con su padre Antonio Aguilar, quien recorrió todo el continente americano junto con su familia en el Espectáculo Internacional Ecuestre y Rodeo Show. El primer espectáculo ecuestre en la historia de la industria musical latina, construido en torno a caballos, toros, búfalos, etc. “Era como los Ringling Brothers, pero a la Mexicana. Incluso tuvoun ballet folklórico”. Uno de los espectáculos más exitosos de la época. Don Antonio Aguilar, FlorSilvestre (ambos iconos del espéctaculo de habla hispana) junto con los pequeños Toño y Pepe Aguilar cambiaron el rumbo de la música mexicana para siempre y se convirtieron en un estándar para juzgar al género.

Pepe Aguilar es, hoy por hoy, uno de los intérpretes/productores/compositores más importantes de la música latina, vendiendo más de 12 millones de álbumes, logrando 15 discos en número 1 y varios premios, entre ellos cincoGrammys, cuatro Latin Grammys y una estrella en el Hollywood Walk of Fame. Ha colaborado con los artistas más importantes de la música latina. Aguilar escogió justo este momento para retomar y “reclamar” las tradiciones y el lugar que la familia Aguilar siempre ha tenido en este tipo de espectáculos.

The video to the track “Heaven” from Avicii: TIM is out today. Directed by filmmaker Levan Tsikurishvili, the video is a gorgeous combination of images of Tim Bergling from their last visit to Île Sainte-Marie in Madagascar in 2016 during the filming of True Stories and a second visit that Tsikurishvili made after Tim’s death to honor his legacy.
(Tim and Chris Martin wrote and recorded “Heaven” in 2014, with Tim producing the final version in 2016.)
In a statement about the video, Tsikurishvili wrote: “I have been working with Tim since about 2013. During these years, we made 8 music videos, 3 concert movies and 2 documentaries together. In 2016, right after his last show, Tim, Tim’s childhood friend Awat, and I spent 19 beautiful days in Madagascar, Île Sainte-Marie. We spoke about everything, laughed, played monopoly, hung out with lemurs, and explored the entire island together. Now, two-and-a-half years later, I returned to the island to remember Tim, to honor his legacy, and to recreate the memories that will stay with us forever.
This video is a collection of Tsikurisvili’s smartphone videos plus some parts of unused material from the documentary Avicii: True Stories and newly shot footage. He also created additioanl 3D animations in order to recreate images illustrating private moments for which there was not video.
