We are excited to have the media cover the first ever  L Festival – Feria Latinoamericana, Saturday and Sunday, October 24, 25 at the OC Event Center & Fairgounds.   Created by UMLE and CMN Events, the   L Festival  is a family event that celebrates the best of Latin American  art, cuisine and music, and features 30+ music performances playing full concert sets. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see Latin music’s biggest stars playing one place over two days in Southern California.  The Faigrounds open to the public at 12Noon each day.

You MUST  apply for credentials BEFORE Friday, October 16 at 12noon.  After that no additional requests will be accepted. 

The credentials will allow you a place in the press tent, where we except most artists to stop and speak,  and various other press ops including B-roll of headline performances,  tour of the fairgrounds and carnival area, interviews with important Chefs represented at the festival, visit to the Art Gallery. 

We will notify you  October 19 if your request has been accepted.  Space is limited.  At  that time you will receive instructions on how to pick up your credentials,  parking, etc.

Creado por UMLE y CMN Events, el L Festival  es un evento para toda la familia que celebra lo mejor de la cultura, música y arte latino con más de 30 artistas que presentarán repertorios completos en sus conciertos.  Es una oportunidad única para ver a las estrellas musicales más grandes del momento en un solo lugar por un periodo de dos días en el sur de california.

SE DEBE aplicar para credenciales de prensa ANTES del VIERNES 16 DE OCTUBRE A LAS 12PM. Después de esta hora ninguna aplicación será aceptada.

Con portar las credenciales, se te asignará un lugar en la carpa de prensa, en donde se espera que la mayoría de los artistas participantes hablen y desde donde se coordinará  B-Roll de las principales presentaciones, recorrido de todo el centro y área del parque de diversiones, entrevistas con importantes Chefs participantes en el festival y visitas a la galería de arte.

El 19 de octubre notificaremos a quienes se les asigne credenciales. Espacio es limitado. También se enviarán instrucciones de como recoger las credenciales, pases de estacionamiento, etc.

Avicii just opened the door to his insane Instagram comic “Avicii Begins.” The story is about Dr. Hush, an evil super villain that enslaved the world and banned all music. Your mission is to infiltrate his broadcasting station and play the last remaining song in the world to awaken the people. 

The story uses Instagram’s tagging functionality to let the reader decide how the story

unfolds. So where do you want to go? Up on the rooftops or underground? Make your

We Got This Covered reports that some of the artwork in the story “takes a jab at deadmau5”….“The silhouette of the Joel Zimmerman’s mau5head trademark is unmistakable, and the line on the marquee above him is directly copied from a Facebook post that he made to insult Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” all the way back in 2013.”

LOS ANGELES – OCTOBER 2, 2015 – DJ/producer/songwriter Avicii today released his new album STORIES, the follow-up to his genre-busting, multi-platinum debut TRUE. Produced by Avicii, aka Tim Bergling, STORIES features 14 original songs on which he worked for two years to push himself genre-wise and maintain his commitment to crafting undeniably catchy melodies and personal themes. Along the way, Bergling collaborated with some of music’s most distinctive singers/songwriters including Alex Ebert, Matisyahu, Wyclef Jean, Gavin DeGraw and Zac Brown.   

The new music on STORIES is informed by Bergling’s experiences since the release of his record TRUE which sold close to 5 million copies worldwide, charted at #1 on iTunes in 84 countries, and boasted the fastest selling single in 2013, “Wake Me Up,” which was streamed nearly 50 billion times. Those experiences varied radically from the elation of playing for 80,000 hometown fans in Stockholm and selling 500,000 tickets on his TRUE Tour to having an illness that necessitated the cancellation of a year’s worth of tour dates. Rather than making a total departure from TRUE, STORIES builds on it.

Bergling says the album “refines what I didn’t feel was perfect last time. I think there are more layers to the songs than before, and every song has been written on acoustic guitar, so the structure is different. All the songs have a story I wanted to tell.” 

Avicii’s STORIES is rich and varied, with melodies that carry the listener on a roller coaster of emotions. He characterizes the lyrics on a track with Matisyahu and Wyclef Jean as ‘an old school reggae protest song.’ He teased “Broken Arrows” with the ‘amazing voice’ of Zac Brown on his monthly Le7els podcast. Brown reciprocated the admiration when he told Country Weekly, “Avicii has an incredible mixture of organic and electronic music together.”

The album also includes the single “Waiting for Love,” which was #1 in 22 countries and features the powerful vocals of UK-based artist Cherry Ghost, aka Simon Aldred. Avicii ties in his own ‘story’ paying homage to his hometown on the dreamy pop song “Somewhere In Stockholm,” giving the album a strong, personal reference point. The enormity of the success of TRUE gave him the freedom to be able to make rock songs and ballads, and explore reggae, blues, and jazz, and he’s made the most of that freedom on STORIES. 

“Yes it’s a challenge,” he says, “but it’s also a lot of fun.”

LOS ANGELES – September 24, 2015 – Global superstar DJ Avicii’s long awaited new album STORIES is out next Friday, October 2 on PRMD Music/Island Records. Avicii collaborated with some of music’s most distinctive singers/songwriters on STORIES, including Chris Martin, Alex Ebert, Matisyahu, Wyclef Jean, Zac Brown, Zak Abel, and more. STORIES is available for pre-order now.

Produced by Avicii, aka Tim Bergling, STORIES features 14 original songs on which he worked for two years to push himself genre-wise and maintain his commitment to crafting undeniably catchy melodies and personal themes. The result is music that is grounded in its vision and surefooted in its artistry.”All the songs have a story I wanted to tell, says the 2x Grammy-nominated producer/songwriter/DJ. 

The new music on STORIES is informed by Bergling’s experiences since the release of his genre-busting, multi-platinum debut TRUE; experiences which vary radically from the elation of playing for 80,000 hometown fans in Stockholm and selling 500,000 tickets on his TRUE Tour to having an illness that necessitated the cancellation of a year’s worth of tour dates. Rather than making a total departure from TRUE, STORIES builds on it. 

Bergling says the album “refines what I didn’t feel was perfect last time. I think there are more layers to the songs than before, and every song has been written on acoustic guitar, so the structure is different.” 

Avicii’s STORIES is rich and varied, with melodies that carry the listener on a roller coaster of emotions. He characterizes the lyrics on a track with Matisyahu and Wyclef Jean as ‘an old school reggae protest song.’ He teased “Broken Arrows” with the ‘amazing voice’ of Zac Brown on his monthly Le7els podcast. The album also includes the single “Waiting for Love,” which was #1 in 22 countries and features the powerful vocals of UK-based artist Cherry Ghost, aka Simon Aldred. Avicii ties in his own ‘story’ paying homage to his hometown on the dreamy pop song “Somewhere In Stockholm,” giving the album a strong, personal reference point. The enormity of the success of TRUE gave him the freedom to be able to make rock songs and ballads, and explore reggae, blues, and jazz, and he’s made the most of that freedom on STORIES.

In May,  Avicii and Volvo Cars, two of Sweden’s most influential brands, launched their collaboration on a new brand campaign which features Avicii’s reworking of the classic song Feeling Good. The music video for Feeling Good was filmed on location in Stockholm and Osterlen, southern Sweden in places of personal significance for Avicii and tells his own story of renewal, following several years of hard touring.
