BELGIAN BROTHERS DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE NOMINATED FOR SIX INTERNATIONAL DANCE MUSIC AWARDS (IDMAs)
LOS ANGELES, Calif., February 11, 2016 – DJ Mag’s No. 1 DJs, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike will perform their Billboard No. 1 hit ‘Higher Place’ feat. Ne-Yo for the first time on television on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016 Revealed. The show will air this Saturday, February 13 at 10:30 p.m. (ET) / 7:30 p.m. (PT) during NBA All-Star Weekend on TNT. To top off the week, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike were nominated for six International Dance Music Awards.

Sports Illustrated, a Time Inc. media property, IMG and TNT are teaming up for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016 Revealed, a first-of-its-kind broadcast event that will culminate with the unveiling of the 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model. Joining the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016 Revealed celebration will be three-time Grammy award-winner Ne-Yo and superstar DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, who will perform their smash single “Higher Place.”
‘Higher Place’ has garnered 19 million Spotify streams and 11 million YouTube views, was featured in the NBA’s Warriors vs. Spurs hype video, and was the most Shazamed track of Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld, and Creamfields.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike recently received six nominations for the 31st annual International Dance Music Awards (IDMAs), including ‘Best European DJ’s,’ ‘Best Group’ and ‘Best Progressive House / Electro DJ.’ Their hit record ‘Higher Place’ earned two nominations for ‘Best R&B / Urban Dance Track’ and ‘Best Electro / Progressive House Track,’ while their equally massive collaboration with Ummet Ozcan ‘The Hum’ was also shortlisted in the latter category.
After being voted the No. 1 DJs in the world in the Top 100 Poll and becoming the first duo to hold this title, these nominations perfectly reflect the immense success and surge in popularity that Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have experienced in recent months, and demonstrates that this year is set to be equally as huge as the previous.
