EL GRUPO OFRECIO UNA INTIMA ENTREVISA Y UNA PODEROSA SESION ACUSTICA
Los Angeles, CA – La noche de ayer, inmersos en el ambiente íntimo del teatro Clive Davis en el Museo del GRAMMY, Reik, el grupo de pop ganador de un Latin Grammy ofreció una entrevista muy personal y una imponente presentación acústica. La entrevista conducida por Leila Cobo de la revista Billboard fue informativa, personal, dinámica y muy divertida. El grupo hablo acerca de su amistad, de su niñez y juventud en Mexicali, del proceso de composición y de su crecimiento como músicos, artistas y compositores.El grupo compuesto por, Jesus Navarro (vocalista), Julio Ramirez (guitarra acústica) y Gilberto “Bibi” Marin (guitarra eléctrica) presentó un set acústico con varios de sus más grandes éxitos incluyendo: Peligro, Que Vida, Noviembre, Sabes, Tu Mirada, Fui y un medley de Creo en Ti y Vuelve.
Otros artistas que se han presentado en el Museo del GRAMMY son John Legend, Colbie Caillat y Ringo Star. La velada estuvo patrocinada por American Express y Sesac Latina, todas las ganancias por la venta de boletos benefician a los programas del Museo del GRAMMY.
La gran entrada a la escena musical de Reik sucedió en el 2005 con la salida del tema “Yo Quisiera”, primer sencillo que se desprendió de su álbum debut homónimo y que se convertiría en el primer éxito de su carrera. Fuerte y enérgico es el crecimiento musical de Reik a través de sus giras y en sus composiciones. Sin perder su esencia ellos han seguido evolucionando su sonido como lo demuestran en su más reciente producción, Peligro, álbum que debuto # 3 en la lista de ventas de Estados Unidos y que continua ubicándose entre los más vendidos de iTunes.
La escritora Leila Cobo es la Directora Ejecutiva de Contenido Latino y Programación de la revista Billboard. La nueva novela de Cobo, ‘The Second Time We Met’ (Grand Central Books), saldrá a la venta el 29 de febrero.

REIK PERFORMS TO SOLD OUT CROWD AT GRAMMY MUSEUM
INTERVIEW AND ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE WAS PERSONAL AND POWERFUL
Los Angeles, CA – Latin Grammy winning pop group REIK appeared last night in a special interview/acoustic performance at the Clive Davis Theatre at the GRAMMY Museum. In an interview conducted by Billboard’s Leila Cobo that was informative, personal and at times hilarious, the band talked about their friendship, growing up in Mexicali, their songwriting process and their growth as musicians, performers and songwriters.The band, Jesus Navarro (vocals), Julio Ramirez (acoustic guitar) and Gilberto “Bibi” Marin (electric guitar) also performed an acoustic set of their biggest hits: Peligro, Que vida, Noviembre, Sabes, Tu Mirada, Fui, and a medley of Creo en ti and Vuelve.
