The Tim Bergling Foundation and Avicii Arena held the first ever AVICII ARENA TOGETHER FOR A BETTER DAY concert today at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm. The concert, in memory of Avicii, put the spotlight on young people’s mental health and eliminating the stigma around mental health. Performances by artists such as Zara Larsson and Benson Boone rang through the night along with messages from Avicii Collaborators and Friends.

Today, at 10.00, Stockholm’s new interactive museum Avicii Experience was inaugurated by Tim’s father Klas Bergling and H.R.H Prince Carl Philip and H.R.H Princess Sofia. Other participants were curator Ingmarie Halling, Content Producer Lisa Halling-Aadland and Per Sundin, CEO Pophouse Entertainment.

The interactive tribute museum Avicii Experience will be opening at Space, Stockholm’s new meeting place for the digital generation, on February 26th, 2022. The over 300 m2 museum dedicated to fans and the public, is an emotional homage to one of the true icons in dance music and popular culture: Tim Bergling. The initiating and driving forces behind the museum are Pophouse Entertainment and Space. Today, January 24 at 13.00, tickets will be available via aviciiexperience.com.

The life of Tim Bergling, aka Avicii, is the subject of a new international documentary film which chronicles his journey from unknown to international superstar and is scheduled for release in 2023.

Starting midnight EST Wednesday September 8, Google will be celebrating world-famous music producer and DJ Avicii’s 32nd birthday with a Doodle in over 46 countries, which is a temporary change to the Google logo on the home page. Additionally, the Doodle will be accompanied by a music video illustrating important moments in his life and a Google Blog post.

SiriusXM and The Tim Bergling Foundation today announced BPM Presents: Avicii Birthday Tribute for Mental Health Awareness on SiriusXM’s BPM channel. The special take-over will kick off on Tuesday September 8, Avicii’s birthday and during Suicide Prevention Week.

“FADES AWAY’, the last track on AVICII: TIM, Tim Bergling’s posthumous album, came out of sessions with Tim, Carl Falk, Joe Janiak and Joakim Berg, the lead vocalist/writer for one of Sweden’s most successful rock band’s KENT. The original track featured Noonie Bao, but is being performed today in Stockholm at the Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness featuring MishCatt. The Tim Bergling announced today that the December 5th Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness at Friends Arena in Stockholm will be lived streamed globally on Avicii’s official YouTube, Facebook and Instagram pages as well as other outlets (see below).

19 of the original singers on Avicii’s biggest tracks, including Aloe Blacc, Adam Lambert, Alex Ebert, Rita Ora and Joe Janiak (see full list below) , will come together with a 30 pc band to perform a two hour headline set of his original music on December 5 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm for the Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness, the Avicii team announced today.  The event will open with  headline DJ sets from David Guetta, Kygo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Laidback Luke and Nicky Romero, all close friends of Tim Bergling.

On August 23 at 12:01 AM CEST, The Avicii estate will release “Heaven (David Guetta & MORTEN remix)” the long-rumored remix of the Avicii track from Tim Bergling’s album TIM, which reached 1.2 billion streams since its release in June. Produced by Guetta to honor his friend’s life and legacy, it is the first Avicii/Guetta collaboration since the two produced “Sunshine” in 2011 and received a Grammy nomination for their work.

The video to the track “Heaven” from Avicii: TIM is out today. Directed by filmmaker Levan Tsikurishvili, the video is a gorgeous combination of images of Tim Bergling from their last visit to Île Sainte-Marie in Madagascar in 2016 during the filming of True Stories and a second visit that Tsikurishvili made after Tim’s death to honor his legacy. 

AVICII: TIM, an album of new music from acclaimed producer/musician/songwriter and performer Tim Bergling, is out today. AVICII created groundbreaking performances that became the gold standard for timeless electronic music and defined the sound and structure of the global EDM movement.  When announcing his retirement from touring, he wrote: “I will however never let go of music. I will continue to speak to my fans through it.” And most assuredly, that is what he is doing on TIM.

The much speculated upon final track listing for AVICII: TIM, due June 6, is below. TIM is the first album of new music from Bergling since his unexpected death last year.  Work on a few of the tracks had been completed but several more needed final touches.   Bergling had left very clear notes about how he wanted to finish the music and who his production partners should be. S (Feat. Aloe Blacc)”, the first track to be released from the upcoming Avicii album TIM, is out today. Sleek and modern, the song is built on Aloe Blacc’s soaring voice and a dually spare and brightly layered pop production from Tim Bergling, Albin Nedler and Kristoffer Fogelmark.

When Tim Bergling passed away on April 20, 2018, he was close to completing a new album. He left behind a collection of nearly finished songs, along with notes, email conversations and text messages about the music.

A year after his passing on April 20, 2018, the Tim “Avicii” Bergling family are starting a foundation –the  Tim Bergling Foundation – in his memory.  

For the “You Be Love” video, Avicii wanted to create an entirely new way of telling a love story on film by creating something surprising, technically innovative and creatively emotive. The result is an emotional ride of a tragic yet beautiful love story. From his current EP ‘AVĪCI’, the track features low-timbered rock and roll artist, Billy Raffoul.

Avicii has shared the official video for his new single ‘Lonely Together’. Taken from his current EP ‘AVĪCI’, the track features British pop singer Rita Ora, who performed the song live on the first episode of the 2017 series of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing on the 9th of September.

After eight intense years of music-making and touring around the world – Avicii, aka Tim Bergling– announced that he was stepping down from the stage. People everywhere thought he had left the music scene for good. Shortly after Tim went out on a journey across the States together with his closest friends and creators, and this transformational journey led him back to the joy of doing what had always meant the most to him – composing music. One of the first tracks to come out of that process was “Without You”, a song of freedom and empowerment, featuring Sandro Cavazza. Avicii performed the track at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival in 2016.

The creative collaboration between Swedish artist/producer Avicii and Volvo Cars for their new brand campaign features a reworking of the classic song Feeling Good. Filmed on location in Stockholm and Osterlen, southern Sweden, the music video visits places of personal significance for Avicii and tells his own story of renewal, following several years of hard touring. The music video also features members of his family and close friends.
