Dick clark productions and ABC announced today that global music superstars One Direction will perform their new single “Perfect” at the “2015 American Music Awards,” the world’s biggest fan-voted award show. The band, who won three awards at last year’s ceremony (Artist of the Year, Favorite Duo or Group – Pop/Rock, and Favorite Album – Pop/Rock), join previously announced host and performer Jennifer Lopez, as well as 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena Gomez and Carrie Underwood. The “2015 American Music Awards” will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 22 at 8:00pm ET on ABC.

Day one of UMLE’s L FESTIVAL – FERIA CULTURAL LATINOAMERICANA was a huge success as 15,000 families and fans of great Latin music, food and art poured onto the grounds of the OC Fair and Event Center for Day One of the two-day festival. Enrique Iglesias, David Bisbal, Los Angeles Azules, Julion Alvarez, Jesus Mendoza and others had the thousands of fans screaming for more. The L Dance Hangar stage for electronic acts was packed as artists crowd surfed over the audience. Day two is expected to draw 20,000 attendees.

The American Music Awards, the world’s biggest fan-voted award show, announced today the “2015 American Music Awards” nominees. Recording artists Joe Jonas and Charlie Puth rose at the crack of dawn to reveal six categories of nominees on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Immediately following the broadcast, five additional categories were announced in real time exclusively via Snapchat (TheAMAs). ABC News then livestreamed the remaining 12 categories and included a recap of all nominees in the 11 previously-announced categories. (See the full list of nominees below).
